Here is my list of books I absolutely want to read in 2016! It's a bit ambitious, but I'm going to do my best. These are 48 titles I've collected over the year from various magazines, websites and blogs. I think my next favorite is somewhere in this group! Comment and let me know if you've already read any of them and what you think.
Oh wow, this is a great list! There are a few here that I have already read. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThese are great books! I'd forgotten about The Humming Room, O.J., and Popeye and Elvis but I really enjoyed all of them! I've been wanting to read How to Steal a Dog although I have the impression it's sad (Maybe I just assume all dog books are sad). love O'Connor though. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteMost dog books ARE all sad!!! LOL
DeleteYou have some really interesting books on your list. Quite a few are completely new to me. The ones I know were great reads!
ReplyDeleteThanks Cherriee! I'm looking forward to reading them.
ReplyDeleteI had a student ask me to purchase the Stinkville title. I bought it, but haven't read it. I'll be interested to hear what you think. My favorites from this list are When Life Gives You OJ, Hilo and Rollergirl. Have a great year. :)
ReplyDeleteCrystal, Stinkville was great!! Really easy to read with a very likable main character. I think my students will really like it. Check out my review in a later post.
DeleteIf I could recommend a few start them soon titles - they would be Popeye and Elvis and Turtle in Paradise. I have read both aloud to a class and loved them!
ReplyDeleteI loved Turtle in Paradise, but I wonder about the pregnancy before marriage part. Not sure I want to recommend that one!!
ReplyDeleteGreat list - lots of title I want to add to my list.
